The London City of Westminster is located southwest of Stansted airport a distance of 40 miles that would take around an hour by taxi via the M11 and A12. It is an inner London borough and has a population of 219,600 according to 2011 statistics.

The City of Westminster is known as the home of the Monarchy and Government as most of the government offices are located there. It also has a high concentration of major places of interest including the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms, Westminster Cathedral and St James Park. It is at the heart of central London, to the west of the city and right on the north bank of the River Thames. Westminster has 11,000 listed buildings of architectural or historical significance, such as the former home of Napoleon III which is located in King Street and is marked by the oldest surviving blue plaque in London.

It is home to many global companies aswell as 10 Universities and Colleges including The University of Westminster and The London School of Economics. It has the famous shopping areas of Soho, Carnaby Street, Mayfair, Bond Street and Oxford Street aswell as the shopping and entertainment district of Covent Garden that also incorporates some of Londons Theatreland.
